Here is a wiring diagram for an Australian spec tribute, it may be the same as your market.

Maybe a dodgy TNS relay? I have a low tolerance of Vehicle electrical diagnostics.

They are close grim, they both have wire. U.S. labels the relay Park Lamp Relay.

Faze3, since you seem to have a grasp on current flow, I'll give you what I have. I haven't tried to upload anything here yet and won't have time til later.

Flow: Battery to Battery Junction Box. 120A Main to Fuse #20-40A. Leaving the Battery Junction Box, enters Central Junction Box. That will be the fuse box inside, left kick panel. Feeds fuse #15-15A which powers the Park Lamp Relay. The headlight switch activates the Park Lamp Relay and powers up the lights. Dash lights and trailer tow are also powered up thru that relay and have separate fuses. #18-5A, is for the dash, but if it's not hot when the lights are on, you are probably looking for the Park Lamp Relay.

Dam, I need to take the time to try uploading. Hope that wasn't too confusing.

Actually, If you look at the diag grim sent, put the U.S. labels in there, it should give you a real good idea of how everything powers up.

Didn't see this until now. I'll look tonight.

My dad suggested checking the ground wire too but I haven't been able to locate online where that's attached.

Ok, where is the relay? Looking at diagrams online I don't see that referenced in the fusebox in the kick panel.

Glad I looked it up because I knew that question was coming and I didn't have the answer earlier.

Same kick panel, near the fuse box or even mounted next to it, there should be a small box with 4 relays and 2 multi wire connectors in it. The relays are 2 different sizes, lets call them big (more of a square shape) and small (more of a rectangle shape). The 2 smaller ones are the ones your after. They sit on top of each other. The top one is the horn relay and the bottom one is the Park Lamp Relay.

If you have trouble finding them, unplug the horn, sit in the car and push the horn button. You should hear the relay for the horn "clicking". Track down the click and you found your relays. The horn relay and PLR are interchangeable. Swap them and see if that fixes your light problem.

When you find the relay and if that's the problem, relays of this type are somewhat generic. Big box part store might be able to match it up. Of course, these are the same people that asked my buddy if his truck was a 2WD or 4WD when he went to get wipers for his truck.

You wont have to float a loan if you pick it up at the dealer and since the Tribute is a ford, you can obviously pick it up at a Ford dealer too.

This is literally her fuse box. I only see one square and two 30a, both are good.
