Lately I have experienced grinding and violent pedal pulsation when applying the brakes (but not always; seems to go away if I pump the brakes enough times). I have replaced both pads and rotors and the issue is still present. I'm beginning to wonder if this is an ABS issue (although no ABS light is on and last time I brought it to Mazda they couldn't find anything wrong). Now that my extended warranty is up I'm looking for possible solutions that I can perform myself.

Anyone have any ideas as to what it can be? The person who posted this sounds like the same exact issue I'm having (http://www.justanswer.com/questions/...zda-tribute-es) I just can't be without my car for days at a time.
