brake light. Brake Light! BRAKE LIGHT!!!!!!
My friend and I just changed the brake pads, rotors, and calipers on the rear of my 3 and now the brake light is stuck on. During the test drive everything worked fine, but the damn light wont go off.
It haunts me.
Help!

oops i thought he was talking about the e-brake light on the dash not the actual brake lights (it wasn't plural ).
still does not make sense though, there are not any wires that come from the brake lights that come near the brakes themselves so you guys couldnt have pinched or shorted any wires. the only thing that comes to mind right now is that the brakes were not properly serviced, id go over everything again including re bleeding the brakes, im leaning more towards the brake bleed though.

well, i purged the brakes and it was still on. so then i looked to see if it was low on fluids. still full.
pulled the cap. started pouring dot3 down its gullet. kept pouring and pouring. turns out that there was a false line on the side of the translucent plastic tank from sitting so long...no more brake light. you guys were on the right track.

That might be my problem. I didn't take the cap off and look in. I just looked at the side of the reservior to see if there was fluid. I'll check that today. I have the same problem after changing the rear pads. I sure hope more fluid in the res will solve my light in the dash problem.
