grinding whirling noise

Default grinding whirling noise

I have a 02 mazda protege and as of 3 days ago it started making a kinda grinding or whirling noise around the front left (driverside) of the car it doesnt increase or decrease with breaking if the car idles it goes away it only happens when it is moving. even if you driving and you hold the clutch to the floor it is still their and it doesnt get any louder with speed or slowing down i have no clue what it could be tranny again! or maybe a cv joint again! i really love my mazda! cant wait to get another

Check your trans oil like was mentioned in your other post. Take that left front wheel off and check the brakes to make sure they are not worn out. There should be a little metal warning indicator on the inboard pad that will touch the rotor is lining gets too thin. While there also check to make sure you do not have a backing plate touching the rotor or a rock stuck somewhere. Sounds more like one of the last two from your good description.
