Hi...new to the board. I've looked through the Tribute problems and haven't seen this. My brake booster is going bad (typical hissing from pedal area, with relief when pressure is applied to pedal). Within the past week, the instrument panel has gone haywire a couple of times when trying to start the suv. The sequence is always: key turned, engine doesn't want to turn over, tach and odometer immediately peg out to the max, engine catches and gauges return to normal. Any ideas for this tired '01 V6 LX 4x4 with 118k? Thanks!
