I have a problem with the immobilizer system. I have an 04 8.
Basically I need to reset the unit to the pcm, or some function like that. Please help, my car has been "immobilzed" for several weeks now.
I understand in the interest in security some information shouldn't necesarilly be made public so I would appreciate a pm about what I need to know.

 

so here's the deal. your car has been immobilized because of a key or pcm issue. the only way to "get into" the immobilizer system is through mazda's diagnostic system. we have to enter a good amount of variable info to get a code the allows us to enter the security program. so basically you need to take it to a dealer.

 

Why can't we just enter that good amount of information?
