I have an 04 Rx-8, and have begun doing some work to it. My next step is an exhaust system. However I do not want to put on one of those typical aftermarket mufflers, that will make it sound like a weed whacker. I am looking to get a full exhaust system that will boost H.P., and give the sound of a formula one car, or a ferrari. I would like to know if anyone can give me any input as to where I might be able to get my hands on something like this.

 

What if a "weed wacker" sound offers the most horsepower increase?

WOuld your rather have POWER that you can put to the wheels or would you rather have a THROATY roar?


I'll take real world power increase any day. Exhaust sound is for the FAST and the FURIOUS wannabies. I don't care if good pipes make it sound like a frickin' BLENDER, I'll take it.

 

If i am a american, i would defently choose the Borla exhaust.
But this is illegal in Switzerland, so i did put a ATH sytem to my RX8.
This is mostly the same like a FOX
