hey i was wondering does anyone know what engine i could swap for my rx-8 to get more power running? I am lookin to get the most power i can for my car but i want to get a better engine cause im not to sure this stock one can put out what im looking to do!!!!!!!!!! If anyone knows just message me back thx!!!!!!!!!!!

 

you must be looking in the wrong places for performance parts, there are many many many places out there that can provide the parts necessary to get that car going much faster, look around a little more for parts before you consider throwing a different motor in there. The rotoray motors are excellent, but different to work on, but you can harness so much power from them if you do it right.

 

your problem with the motor is easy but you need to change the obd2 ecu to somthing more along the lines of a stand alone

 

Before you think about swapping out your engine, check out yawpower.com. I just found this site yesterday, and looks like they can easily take your current engine to pretty much any level you want...including racing. Spend the money to take the rotary to another level entirely and you can keep the handling dynamics (weight, center of gravity and all that). Seems to me thats what my car is begging for.

 

I am looking for a 4 Rotor engine for my 04 rx8. I called mazda but i dont feel like spending 4000 on a brand new 4 rotor, i do want a brand new engine however 4000 is my last choice. If you know where I can get one, please let me know.
