still no tail lights
I had an "electrical expert" on my 89 rx7 trying to get the top to work. I have the rear light problem but that will be solvable. Have you ever had problems with your top lowering and raising. Is there a weak link you are aware of.
I am cautious about letting anyone one else probing around in there.

I HAVE SEEN THIS PROBLEM HAPPEN WHEN AN AFTER MARKET STEREO HAS BEEN INSTALLED INTO THESE CARS. WHAT HAPPENS IS THE INSTALLER TEST FOR GROUND WITH AN METER AND HE FINDS IT ON THE ALUMINATION WIRE WHEN THE LIGHTS ARE OFF. HE THEN ATTACHES HIS GROUND WIRE FROM THE STEREO. SO THE NEXT TIME THE LIGHTS ARE TURNED ON IT BLOWS THE FUSE THROUGHT THE ANT GROUND LEAD OF THE ANT. THIS SHORT WOULD BE COMMON TO ALL THOSE CURCUITS.
