tapping in motor

tapping in motor

I have a 03 5 speed protege. It just got a loud tapping in the motor that's consistant with the idol even if I'm stopped in neutral or clutching. Anyone know what this could be from?

Answered my own question, a pully on the belt came loose and now it's rubbing on the side of the motor
