Help....suspension...
I've got a '95 Protege LX with around 100,000 miles on it and I've gone through three sets of swaybar links and they're worn again....causing clattering suspension over the slightest bump. Are these designed to wearout so more money can be made later on or what!? Has anyone else gone through so many swaybar links!?

Default RE: suspension

You are refering to the links that connect the sway bar to the struts? Sounds like way to many sets of links. Do see failures on them but not that often unless you are having to replace every 80-100k miles. Would check the front suspension over carefully to see if something else is also worn out, namely the front struts. Very weak front stuts could but a very large strain on the links if they are not dampening the suspension movement over bumps.
