Gotcha. What do we know about this guy? I checked out his website and his big claim to fame seems to be that he's had over 27 million youtube views. That sounds like a good like google ads business, but can we really believe everything he says just because he has a mechanic's license and is making vids?

Just playing devil's advocate here

I have cleared a P0420 in my '98 Protege with about 170K miles on it using the Lacquer Thinner Method. The car runs so much nicer since that cleaning.

I also used it on the Windstar, 160K miles. I had no code but thought the high mileage and the success with the Protege is enough of an excuse. Again, the engine runs smoother, has better throttle response and starts easier.

You don't have to do it. I am happy I did it.
