Default To replace driverside door? Or to Not?

Hey All,

I have a 2000 Mazda Protege ES. It has about 211,000 miles on it. I did notice that the driver side door seems to have rusted through on the bottom some.

Any idea's on where to get a replacement door?

The only reason I post this thread is, it's getting a little drafty when I am driving the car.

Also, Is it hard to replace the door?

Thanks,

Should only be a couple bolts by the hinges and it comes right off, there is the wiring harness though and depending on how equipped your car is there will be alot or a few wires inside, you MIGHT have to cut the harness and splice in the one from the new door.

......and change the door lock over.

This car is quite old and aparently located in road salt country. If looks don't matter tape it up or apply a metal cover using silicone and rivets.
