Default The rack.

Hey guys, I have had the luggage rack taken off the P5 for about 3 weeks now. I am getting tired of people asking about the places with no covers on the black bases. I know a Mazda dealer might could hook me up for $20-$30, but does anyone have a link to where I could find the covers online? Or I could remove the black bases all together, but it looks like some black weather stripping would have to be put in the roof grooves. Thnks 4 any help.

you could remove the rails, but you would need to get new weatherstripping and fill some holes. the caps are a little more than $20-30, btw. i think that they retail for about $25 a piece ($100 total). i don't know an outlet for them other than the dealership.

Wow... Looks like I'm going to go the route of weather stripping after removing rails.[&:][>:]

just talk to a dealership and ask them for weather stripping off of a 2003.5 with no roof racks. you will have to seal the holes that the racks leave. if your racks are in good shape, you may be able to sell them for a decent amount. you should be able to get $150-ish for them.
