Hi All,

I have a 99 protege that has been in at the mechanics for the last week. The problem is that when the engine is hot, the engine stumbles / misses when accelerating. The car is also very hard to start when hot. Both coils, the plugs, thermostat and even the ECU have been swapped out. Cam belt has also been replaced recently. Fuel pump has been checked.

Can anyone shed some light on what could be going on here?. The car runs perfectly when cold, even under hard acceleration.
