Hi there.I have a 1992 Protege DX 1.8L SOHC. When i rev the car up to about 3500 rpms in neutral, the car wil shut off. Also when driving and I down shift or push the clutch in, the car will die.I can start it up right away but it gets a little annoying after a while. Im thinking it could be coming from one of my belts because one of the squeal.I just put a new clutch in and had the CV joint replaced.IT has 214,000 miles on it. I think if this problem was fixed, it could run another 214,00 miles.lol....but yea...i believe it!
