Question Need Wheel Help (Best fitting- if possible)

So I have a protege5 and yesterday I picked up a pair of enkei evo VIII wheels, 17x8 35mm offset. From everything I have found I should be able to run 17x8 as long as it's between a 35-45mm offset, yes? I think my tires are just too big, 245/45/17. What size tire could I drop to inorder to run these? Or do I need to do something like wheel spacers, camber, etc. Really just looking for the cheapest solution and helpful opinions! Thanks!

Your tires are both too wide and too large in diameter; you should be running 225/45 R17 to make sure everything fits and your speedometer and odometer remain accurate.

So I will be good to go then, no rubbing, or needed modifications? I honestly don't know and just want to make sure is why I am asking again. I can't afford to make any unnecessary purchases.

Yup, no modifications beyond buying the new tires.
