Default Keyless Fob Programming For P-5

Dealer service dept. save me some $$$ and a trip to the service dept. to re-program my wife's keyless entry fob.
1. Remove key from ignition.
2. Open drivers door.
3. Put key in ignition, turn to ON then back to OFF three times.
4. Push drivers side door switch 3 times (on the door jamb)
5 Push any single button on the fob TWICE.
All of the above steps to be performed within 24 seconds.
Cheers, Rich

Note for above post. After step four the doors should lock and unlock signalling that the keyless system is ready to program new remotes. After step 5 the doors should also lock and unlock signalling that the new fob has been programmed. The system can have up to three separate remotes programmed. All three slots must be filled in the control unit or you will have problems with operation. If you only have one remote then perform step 5 three times with the same remote. If only two remotes then programs one of the remotes twice.

I was looking for replacement keyless entry remotes not too long ago and I found a site that had them really cheap for my Millenia and Miata.

I had them delivered in less than a week and the programming instructions only took maybe 10 seconds?

Anyways, here's a link to the site:

Just click the Mazda category, or type your model in their search box.
