Default Just bought Protege5, have some questions

I just bought a 03 P5 and I love it! I'm new to Mazda's and have a few questions. One of the fog lights isnt working...Do you have to take off the bumper to change the bulb. (not much room behind to remove) Also, I noticed the dashboard lighting is really dim. (I have the dimmer switch turned up all the way) Is it suppose to be dim? Or maybe the dash bulbs need replacing as well. thanks

welcome to the family.

the fog light should come off from the inside of the bumper, but you may need to pull the plastic covers off of the bottom of the engine compartment to get to them. the dash lights are dim from the factory, in my opinion. noticeably dimmer than the dash lights on my other two cars. thank you for offering up the info that the dimmer is all of the way up though because that is the first thing that i would have asked.

Great, thanks for the response. The individual hasn't done much to it as far as servicing goes. Do you recomend me having it serviced? (plugs, flush radiator and transmission) it has 90k and has been sitting for about 8 months.
thanks
