Default 2002 Protege 5, air intake hose

The air intake hose on my 2002 Protege 5 is completely shot and I can't find a replacement one.

Are there universal intake hoses, or could I use the same as with a Protege sedan? The Autozone guy looked worried and mumbled something about finding one in a junkyard.... seriously!? Surely that's not the only place to find a suitable intake hose....

This seems a common problem w/the Proto series, as I myself have recently found out, but the comment was made that they are only around $16 from the dealer... your best bet, imo.
And no, don't go used on one of these. 'Not a good idea really.

I wound up ordering one from the Mazda dealer near my house. It was like $60 which wasn't terrible and hopefully it fits. Doesn't look too difficult to install. Hope it works.

I just had my intake hose replaced on my 2000 Protege. I think the park was maybe $20-30CDN from the dealer.
