Default Installing Subwoofers. Now Car won't hold battery power.

I just installed 2 10" Kenwood tornadoes and with a 600W amp and a new deck. Now my car is having Idle problems and stalls when the rpms dip. I have a battery that was installed 4 years ago and hopefully a change of that can fix it? Any suggestions would help out alot. Is the electrical system of a Protege strong enough to handle extra speaker components? If i were to install a high output alternator, would that fry the ecu?

when you installed the amp you installed the remote cable as well right? cause without the deck telling the amp to turn off it will stay running. and kill your battery in my 2000 mazda protege i had 2 10 inch mtx with a 400 watt amp and i had no issues at all and that was on the original battery.
