Hello all. Have a 2001 protoge 2.0 that has the idle problems of going up and down at idling and now the auto trans is not shifting down when running 70 mph. It usually runs about 2500 to 2700 but now is over 3100 rpms. heard that i might could clean the Air Idle control valve to see if that would clear it. Had anyone else had this problem at cruising speed?
