How to remove cdplayer from my mazda protege 1999?

Default How to remove cdplayer from my mazda protege 1999?

Please help out

1st look carefully in the 2 sides of the CD player, there should be a thin strip of plastic where u can remove on both sides of the CD player. Then you will see 2 holes on both sides. Those 2 holes are meant for small hard solid rod to go in to unhook the clip inside the CD player to pop the entire CD player out. But u will have to unhook all 4 of them at the same time (4 cuz is 2 at each side). Hope that helps. I replaced my CD player for my 99 Protege and learned this trick by watching the guy replacing for me.
