Help! I just purchased a used Mazda Protege 2000, and I see the tank to refill the oil, but when the cap is twisted of, there is NO DIPSTICK, and under the cap, no place I can see it could have ever been attached to the cap. Could it be somewhere else????

 

There is no dipstick under the cap. The dipstick is the yellow ring thing next to the valve cover on the left hand side (looking at the engine).
