Hi, I need urgent help. I have a mazda familia of year 1999. Frame is GF-BJ5P. It's a four wheel drive. I just bought it as a secondhand. Unfortunately, My gear shift cable is damaged and i am having difficulty to go in first gear and reverse gear. I am trying to look for a secondhand shift cable, and the one they are giving me looks different. I am suspecting that the previous owner tampered with it and tried to repair it himself. He might have retrofit another type of cable in its place.

How would I know the part number of the original cable for my car model and how it looks? please help me.
