Default Front driver's side hub puller?

Hi everyone-

Looking for a substitute wheel hub puller for my 2002 Mazda Protege5. I have a workshop manual with a list of service tools including the hub puller that I need, SST 49 B026 1A0. Is there a generic model puller I can pick up or am I looking at a $150 tool I'm only going to use once? Also, how exactly do I go about buying one if need be? Thanks, I would really appreciate the help.

I would go to Autozone or competitors and loan a universal puller. They loan special tools for free if you have a credit card.

I went and got a universal puller, it bottomed out and still wasn't able to get the hub off. Any suggestions? Has anyone ever removed a hub on an 02 Mazda Protege5, front drivers side?
