EGR Valve

Hey everyone, I am researching a 2002 Protege EGR Valve problem and was told that there may be an extended warranty from Mazda for the valve? Any help would be great, thanks!

Check out the mazda recalls section (one of the links on the top of the page). There may be something there. That or call a dealer?
