cat converter problem

Default cat converter problem

hey hopefully someone here can help me out i have a 2000 mazda protege ES with a broken cat converter, we origanally gutted it thinking it would be better but no its caused nothing but problems so we are trying to put it back in now i have 2 part numbers zm0120500a and zm0220500a those are the mazda part numbers for the cat converter i need. has anyone has this same problem and bought a cat conveter on the internet that will work on the car cause i really don't want to have to pay mazda $800 for it

Check on partstrain.com they have a few models listed.
If you live outside California it will work for you.

ah okay thanks, but i don't need it now i phoned the auto wreaker the next day and they had one in so i installed it and havn't had a problem since
