I've thought aboutmaking them body colored, but don't think that's for me either.

 

Maybe you could change the accent color (badges on hatch, logo badge on front grille and fog light housing [?] )
Although the color in your pics looks pretty nice.

I like the clean look of a de-badged trunk deck/hatch.
