hey i own a mazda protege 2002 with automatic trans.

i need to know what exacly i need to make this swap work. can anyone help plz?

 

Being completely serious here... Have you considered selling your car and buying an otherwise identical one with a manual transmission? My bet is that doing it this way you'll save yourself considerable amounts of time, money and aggravation.

 

I have to agree. The old school cars were a pain but relatively easy to convert. Todays electronically controlled monsters are a PITA. Easier, maybe even cheaper to replace the car, unless you have an ulterior reason for wanting to tackle the project.
