Default Any ever experience this problem

I have a 1998 mazda familia s-wagon. When I drive it for 20 minutes or so and especially when I drive up hills within that time, my car stalls on me. And it will take about 3-5 minutes for it to restart then it will go for about 10 minutes and stall again and the cycle repeats. At present I have done a complete servicing of the car also I chage the ECU, Alternator and the induction hose but the problem is still there. It seems to me that something is being heated and then the will engine stalls when it cools a bit it will restart. Really need help, I have spent a lot of money at the garage already and still can't find the problem.

My 1998 626 had some similar problems. It turned out to be the distributor cap.

I'm sorry but I'm a bit of a noob when it comes to repairing cars so I don't know how to tell you if your distributor cap (DC) is faulty. I remember taking it in multple times, spending lots of money and time on the wrong "solutions", having to drive 2 footed (gas and break same time to keep it running) and in the end I actually sold it to someone else who in turn found out it was the distributor cap. The car had 150k on it and ran like a top after getting the DC replaced.

Yep I had this same problem with my honda, it was the distributor "button" over heating.... I spent alot of money until the figured it out, swapping out this.. replacing that... check the distributor or have the shop do it.. But tell them to start there.
