Default Alternator
I need to change the alternator on my 1997 protege dose it come out the bottom of the car or the top looks very tight ether way

I just looked it up for a 1.5L engine here is what it says:

GENERATOR
Removal/Installation
Removal note: Remove the generator from over the vehicle.

to make it easy you have to remove the rf axle and the axle bracket (3 bolt to the engine).
