clearing the port, should take care of the 1195 issues, what part are you calling an Iac?? the idle air control valve is mounted on the throttle body.
i suspect you are talking about the solinoid valve near the pass side strut tower (next to the MAP sensor) having a strong vacuum source to the solinoid
is important, but remember. the map sensor serves many purposes on that vehicle. the solinoid only switches vacuum to the sensor during specific
conditions.
clear the codes and see if they return.
since your issue/complaint is stalling, when the engine is warmed up id suspect another issue as well.
describe the idle quality during and after warmup, does it idle rough?? does the rough idle worsen as the engine temp increases??
have you checked compression and valve adjustment?? (some 1.5L engines had very weak intake valves that would sink into the head and cause compression loss)

yes it on the pasenger side near the strut tower but the sensor next to it is the egr boost sensot acording to mazda books
the silonoid noy stayed open all of the time and the car is runing a little better
you are right I should adjust the valves I think I will do that soon aswell as another tune up
I just need to know how that silonoid is sopose to work so I can check to see if it needs replaced
also if I have to replace it I will need to get one at a junk yard because the silonoid is about $400 new
so I need to know how to check the one at the junk yard to see if it works properly

Default Issue Resolved?

I have a 98 Protege. Same Code, Same exact problem. When its warming up, drives fine. When its at normal driving temp, it hesitates when I initially push the gas. Did replacing the Boost Sensor solve the problem?
