It is a well kept car, no big issues over the years. The steering acted up yesterday and the local dealer told us it needs a new steering pump and quoted us +/- CAD$3000. seems a tad high. Given the age of the car, the part is probably quite rare, even a used one. still what alternative is there?

 

Definitely search for non genuine part.
