Default 2003 Protege 5

Ok, so basicly there are some strong vibrations in the front end of the car. It's been like this for a month or so. At first, I thought it could be the worn out tires so those were changed, then it kept doing it so the brake rotors were checked to see if they were warped or anything and they werent. They told me it could be the transmission. Its an auto tranny and it shifts smooth and has no problem when i change from park or drive. I dont use the manumatic shifter either. The sound can be felt and heard and speeds up with the car and slows down as well.

Any ideas?

I have never had this problem with my Protege5, but I did have the issue with a minivan. It was a whine or vibration from the front end, and I had everything checked like you, even replacing the tires. It turned out to be bad wheel bearings in the front hubs.

Also, have you had the CV joints checked?

Sounds like a bad front wheel bearing. I would have those checked befor putting more money into the car.
