ok thanks. that kind of sounds right since my car has been shifting pretty harsh and hard lately. could speed sensors have anything to do with my car shifting hard mostly in 2nd 3rd and 4th. 1st is usually smooth.

 

A speed sensor would just make the speedo drop or jump. If you have a problem with the speedo where it drops all the way down when you hit the brakes, that's a sign of trans trouble. Hard shifting is a sign of bad clutches or bad clutch seals.
