2003 Mazda Protege 5
Hello,
I am rebuilding a 2003 Mazda Protege 5. We rebuilt the engine and then a woman hit it and totaled it. I bought it back from the insurance company. Only needs a quarter panel and bumper. It was starting fine, but then all the sudden it won't start. My son said when he was driving the electronic equipment like the lights and radio would lose power. So that makes me think the alternator is going bad. Would a bad alternator cause it not to start? I wouldn't think so, but with these cars with so many electronic/computer aspects, maybe? Thanks. I am brand new here.
