2001 Protege misfiring
People seem to confuse the clouds of white smoke produced by Seafoam as evidence of it doing something (good, bad or otherwise). The thing is, if you "seafom" a brand new car you're still going to get clouds of white smoke. Said another way, my take is that Seafoam is nothing much more than huile de serpent with a brand name.
I agree, and of course I know that the white smoke isn't evidence of anything, just the seafoam burning. Sure there are alot of additives and treatments that are snake oil, but I have seen good results with this stuff in cars, lawn mowers etc, or I wouldn't keep using it.
