Mazda protege 2.0 lx to mazdaspeed conversion
im interested in doing this. ive started junkyard hunting for a mazdaspeed. so besides the turbo and lines. wat else do i have to rip out from the speed. will i need a msp ecu also?

you need the ecu, turbo, exhaust manifold, j and s pipes, oil pan (or tap your stock one), oil lines, intercooler with piping, and radiator. IIRC, the ecu plugs into the stock wiring harness. if it doesn't, you will need to modify the harness or find a new one.
if you are physically going with a complete conversion, you will need seats, front clip, rear bumper, side skirts, rims, complete exhaust, shifter, gauge cluster, stereo, and sun-deck amp.
i am sure that there are a few things that elude me right now, but that is the bulk of it.
