Default 2000 Protege DTC p0118 p0171

2000 Mazda Protege

receiving error codes p0118 p0171. i have replaced the temp sensor, tightend the loose intake tube and still receive the codes.

any ideas?

i replaced the intake gasket, the mass air flow intake and the o2 sensor and the car is still jerking while driving.....any ideas?

i finally got rid of the p0171 code, but i still am receiving p0118 after replacing the coolant temp. sensor...any ideas?

Did you check the standard tune up stuff, plugs, wires, cap and rotor. Also, when was the last time you replaced the fuel filter. These are things that might not show up as codes, but can cause other codes and symptoms to rear their ugly heads...

i replaced all of that....thinking it might have to do with the wiring harness or ecm

How does the temp gauge read? Since you have only one temp sensor, The wire splits and one goes to the instrument cluster and other to the ECM. If gauge operation is normal would be looking at computer or computer connection problem.
