Default 1997 Protege Wont Start

Hello everyone. Recently my 1997 Protege DX (automatic transmission) is having trouble starting up. When I first attempt to turn it on it would crank a little but then dies out. If I try again it would not do anything, not a crank or a click. I noticed that the lights on my dashboard would be lit/on but after the first attempt to turn the car on they turn off and the dash lights wont turn on unless I mess with the battery terminals/post. Now if I try to turn on the car it would be like as if it has no power. I got the battery checked and it's perfectly good as well as the terminals and connections. The starter is also good. So I'm guessing that it may be a blown fuse (maybe the main fuse?), but Im not sure. Does anybody have any suggestions or idea of what it may be?

recheck your battery terminals and the actually terminal wire/ cables carefully, sounds like that's your problem

Ok so yesterday I bought some mini fuses and one main 100a fuse to replace the others and after I replaced them the car turned on again. I guess it was the fuse (atleast I hope) and so far the car has been turning on fine at the moment.
