hey all, im brand new to mazda and this forum, but not new to cars in general... anyhow, Im testing out this 03 speed protege (or the MSP as some of you know ) for the week... and I noticed this one that im driving doesnt have that factory kenwood excelon cd player installed nor the amp as well...now my question is...from what i understand everyone of the "MSP's" came with this cd player/amp combo, is this correct? if so i need to have them install the stuff before i buy it... because as of now my kenwood components that are in the car from the factory arent sounded as good as they should

 

this was an option on these cars, not factory production. i would just check in the trunk and see if there is a place on the bottom of the sun deck where it looks like the amps may have been pulled. if not, the original owner didn't opt for this feature.
