i have a weird rattle, it only happens when you press the gas just a little, after you go past that spot it goes away and if you let the gas all the way out it goes away, just one little spot on the gas and it happens but it seems its right in the spot you need to maintain speed so its annoying. Doesnt seem to matter what rpm, what gear or temp. Any ideas?

Ok lets see, where does it sound like the rattle is coming from? You said it doesnt matter what RPM, speed or temp but does it only happen when moving, as in will it rattle when stopped and revved then? What RPM at idle will it rattle IF it rattles?

 

Now its making steady noise that gets worse with more rpms. Had my fiancee rev it for me while i was listening, sounds like its coming from the top end. im thinkin its a lifter or something in there.
