Hi Everyone,

First time poster...anyway, for the past week or two everytime I start up my car no matter if it is hot or cold, on take off I get this rattle noise right underneath my car. Lately, it is getting much louder and louder....But, as soon as I hit about 20-25 mph or about 30 seconds later it goes away and doesn't come back until I start it back up? Very weird...I have no idea what it is and kinda scared to drive it...any help??

have you done tune-up lately? anyways, there are lots of possible causes why this happens. check your brakes (pads and rotors), inspect the exhaust system; check the belts,fans, or suspension parts (struts, bushing). it would be best to check all the mazda protege parts to see what's really wrong.. keep us posted of what other things did you find out. good luck

 

That is the first thing that came into mind....Tune up..I am a full-time student with two jobs and haven't found time for anything lately....Scouts honor--First thing Saturday Morning I WILL TUNE IT UP!!!!!
