Default no Sparks

alright i own a 1991 Mazda B2600I Quad cab Auto Tranny 200 000 Km

the head on my engine was warped or cracked so instead of changing evryhting i simply baught another engine the same one and did and engine swap well in the process i hit the coil with a pry bar and broke it so i decided to go buy a new one..

installed the new one and no spark im thinking maybe my wires were messed (i baught the truck with the broken head so i dont know if the other owner messed around with..) so i cut the wires connected a positif to the battery and did the same to the ground and still nothing i bolted it on the fender so it should be well grounded and all no sparks... well im thinking maybe it could be my distributer cap that is broken but i took the cover off and turned the ignition over and the little thing still turns.. so i dont know

Any help would be greatly appreciated because i really dont know what to do please give me some options why it would not be working?/

Thanks Jason

Probably the igniter (most parts stores test them free) possibly the ECU. You can remove the ECU and take the covers off to inspect for burnt spots.
