no Sparks
alright i own a 1991 Mazda B2600I Quad cab Auto Tranny 200 000 Km
the head on my engine was warped or cracked so instead of changing evryhting i simply baught another engine the same one and did and engine swap well in the process i hit the coil with a pry bar and broke it so i decided to go buy a new one.. installed the new one and no spark im thinking maybe my wires were messed (i baught the truck with the broken head so i dont know if the other owner messed around with..) so i cut the wires connected a positif to the battery and did the same to the ground and still nothing i bolted it on the fender so it should be well grounded and all no sparks... well im thinking maybe it could be my distributer cap that is broken but i took the cover off and turned the ignition over and the little thing still turns.. so i dont know Any help would be greatly appreciated because i really dont know what to do please give me some options why it would not be working?/ Thanks Jason |
Probably the igniter (most parts stores test them free) possibly the ECU. You can remove the ECU and take the covers off to inspect for burnt spots.

Thanks for your Help.
Ive already figured it out it was the distrubutor shaft i guess i can call it the shaft that goes in the engine =/ changed it with the one of the other engine and it works Thanks |
