hello i really need help identifying this part from a B2300 1997 i have no idea what it is.
hopefully someone here will know. the part is for my dad whom lives in Puerto Rico and none of the local parts stores can tell him what the part is

try to be more specific on were the part was on the engine.

 

well all i have are some pictures my dad sent me, looks like it has to do with the cooling system becouse it was leaking and overheating the car i think a sort of sensor goes to it, and i think it goes in the firewall and for what i can make out somewhere on top of the alternator heres some more immages

the part is the intake water bypass tube, if it broken it can be fixed with the proper npt threaded barb fitting and a 5/8 heater hose tee and probably cost less than ten dollars
