I have a 2001 mazda 626 and have a problem with a part which is located above the throttle body. It has 3 tubes coming out of it and an electrical connection plugged into it.


Any help? I can't post a pic right now, sorry.

Thanks for responding. It doesn't really look like that. It is a black plastic box not much bigger than a matchbox. It has one pipe going to something near the fuel rail and two pupes going to the exhaust manifold (i think that is what it's called).

 

I have to say your description is a bit vague. Maybe you find it on this picture? Idle Air Control Valve?
