Default Balljoints, tierods, etc 1984 B2000

How difficult is it to change all the balljoints, etc on the front end of an '84 B2000? What all parts do I need? Is there anyone that sells a complete kit? Where would you reccomend getting the parts?

The truck is about to hit 180k miles and everything needs to be replaced.

It's not too difficult if you have an idea what has to be done. You will need a pickelfork to seperate the ball joint from the spindle. Use a jack hammer or drill to take out the rivets on the old ball joints. I used a drill to take mine out. I bought everything at a Autozone.

Wear safety glasses, trust me!

Good deal. So you can change just the ball joints in some parts?

I imagine it can't be any harder than the neglected BMW 318i I had.

but remember to get a front end alignment if you are changing any steering components etc.As a list no, no part numbers but your local parts shop should give you all you need. Just ensure when tightening up the ball joints use a jack to apply pressure into the socket that the joint runs though so it does not turn while trying to tighten.(support the spindle from underneath and jack it up until the A arm starts to move and that should be enough pressure)
