Right and Left H2O Inversion problem
I did the paperclip test and the two codes that came up ere 17 and 24. They are LH2O and RH2O inversion errors.
What is that, and how can I repair it.
Thanks

Noggin!!!!!!You are all wet!
HO2 sensor: Heated Oxygen Sensor.
This message does not necessary say the sensors are bad. It says the data coming from the sensor are useless. It might be that the catalytic converter(s) are shot or the sensor wiring is bad or..a bunch of other stuff.
Go from cheap fixes to more expensive ones.
I thought you did a tune up within the last year? If so I would start with a catalytic converter cleaning ScottyKilmer on Youtube explanes how. If you have done that already you probably have to search for parts.
Inversion means that the voltage created by the HO2 sensors switch across a certain threshold according to the presence or lack of O2. That's how the computer adjusts the fuel trim.
Submersion means that Noggin should be placed on that:

ok, so here is what my car is doing. It still idles rough and dying often at stop signs/lights. It runs "ok" when I get the RPMs up somewhat. The thing that is odd is that when I give it "gas" it acts like it's "choking" only to speed up when I let up on the gas pedal somewhat. Anyone have a clue why this is happening. I did change the valve cover gaskets and had to remove the manifold, so maybe I didn't connect something?
It sounds like you have a major vacuum leak. When you give it gas it gets more air than the computer knows and when you let go the mixture will be about right for a moment.
Indeed, check around the intake manifold if there is a hose not connected. Did you use new gaskets when you put the manifold back on?

I found the charcoal canister wasn't fixed to the car. When I attached it I noticed that the hose on the bottom was not attached to anything. Also, beneath the canister I found a very short hose that also was not attached. I've included pics, although the short hose is kind of hard to see. Can someone tell me what these hoses should be attached to and could this be the problem for my power loss and rough idle? btw the canister is upside down in the pic so I could show the hose.

In the second picture I couldn't make out anything.
No matter, this could be the problem. This image shows a typical evap system. The canister should release fumes into the intake to be burnt off. If the hoses are kaput or not connected it will allow air into the intake.
